Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is Belarusian born in Minsk. She was the daughter of Sergey (d. in 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka hails from Belarus and was born on May 5, 1998. She has been able to be the winner of 12 WTA singles championships. This includes a Grand Slam in the Australian Open of 2023. Doubles is another sport where she shines. The US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both taken by Elise Mertens. With the Belgian tennis player she was a WTA 1000s winner at Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. Four women's teams have achieved this feat. On the 23rd August of 2021, she rose to second position on the list of world singles rankings her best ranking reached again in January 2023. When she played doubles, she managed to push her way to the top during February of that same year after the victory in Melbourne being the first tennis player born in Belarus to be a part of this specialty. Her coach was the former Russian tennis star Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the end of the 2019 season, and in part at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann also served as the coach she had for a short period between August and September of 2020. As of the year 2020's end, she's been trained by her coach, Antonio Dubrov. Her top idols include Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
